Do you know if your home will survive a natural disaster? We do.

Faura creates tools that help people determine if homes can withstand natural disasters.

Learn about how Faura works for you.

Keeping your home safe is the most important thing to us. Keeping you informed of how we do it is second.

  • Faura is a company that helps to reduce the impact of natural disasters. We do that by making homes more resilient, starting with assessing homes and their ability to survive different natural disasters.

We use that data to understand the resilience of communities, help insurance companies better balance their risk, help governments find where to direct funding, and help you figure out how to protect your home and your family.

  • If you got one from your insurance company, it means they need you to take a survey about the state of your property. The assessment takes less than 10 minutes and we use this information to provide an estimate of your property’s survivability, as well as specific action items, cost, and more. You have 30 days to complete the inspection request before it expires.

  • We collect your answers, overall risk score, and photos and link it to both your overall property and address. However, we don’t collect any personal information and all names and contact info are given to us by your insurer.

We do not share data with any data brokers, nor do we sell information about you to advertising companies to target you with offers.

The privacy and care of homeowners is incredibly important to us, and we continue to work to find ways to assess the survivability of homes with care and consideration for y’all.

  • Great question! It depends on what natural disaster we’re surveying you for. You can find all available surveys to take at assessment.faura.us.

But, if you’re receiving an inspection from an insurance company, they will usually request the most impactful disaster. Each natural disaster has a specific criteria that we measure by, and we weight answers by industry gold-standard practices.

For example, our wildfire assessment measures according to the NFPA and other registered fire mapping models. Once we understand your home, we can fit it into this criteria and calculate a risk score based on your compliance with the criteria.
